My Tools

My Singer sewing machine is one of my most treasured keepsakes from my Grandmother, although I no longer use it to sew. I have acquired more modern equipment: two machines from Sweden.

My primary sewing tools are my Husqvarna Vikings (an Embroidery/Quilting machine, and a Serger). Both machines provide for a majority of my sewing needs.
I am always on the look out for the next best "affordable" tool and someday hope to own a long-arm sewing machine for quilting.
The most useful sewing tools I own are my "granny glasses" and my "hands" which allow me to thread these darn machines.
My next machine will thread itself, fix itself, and sew beautiful projects all by itself too.
