Two New Sewing Projects for Rah-Rah

Two bequests you can leave your children "roots and wings". I believe that we've given Gabrielle more wings than roots. She is a very independent little girl who knows what she likes. When I showed her the cute little butterfly outfit that I sewed for her, her first remark was "I like Pink". So I promised her that the next outfit would be pink (see below).

She's turned into quite the fashion model at 3. She gracefully threw her blankie over her shoulder and leaned on the wall for the big reveal.
Gabrielle is still very petite. This outfit was made using a size 3T pattern, but I still had to cut about four inches out of the width of the blouse to not have it wrap around her about three times. The Capri's are actually shorts (according to the pattern), but we like Capri's so we don't mind. Although this outfit is a little more purple than pink, Gabrielle seemed to be okay with that. I'll have to look through my fabric stash to come up with the next "pink" outfit.
