Lakeshore Purse

Have you ever wanted a durable purse to carry in the summer time to the lake shore. This bag was created with that theme in mind. The light-house fabric used on the outer pockets was also used as the primary fabric on the interior of the purse. This purse has two external pockets and six pockets inside creating lots of storage areas. It has an additional four small pockets inside to insert pencils or pens, using extra-wide purse handles to create these pockets on the interior of the purse.

In each of my bags I include an "I-Ching" coin for wealth and prosperity. The "I-Ching" coin is sewn on the front pocket on this purse.
Inside the purse, I could not decide whether to use light or dark fabric on the base, so I created a reversible insert (made of fabric-covered Plexiglas). Outside in the summer sun, it would be easy to locate things on the bottom of the bag when using the darker fabric, but in less light, the light-colored base would improve visibility inside this handbag.
