Small Backpack

I'm adding to my list of sewing activities and recently decided it would be fun to attempt to make unique backpacks for children. Although this backpack is intended for small children, it could easily be used for a purse. The straps on this bag are not adjustable, but I'm demonstrating in the picture below that it easily fits an adult frame (and is not too big for a child either). A single zipper has been included with a double zipper pull so that it can be opened wide or partially opened.

The one pictured above is a Raggedy Anne backpack with a single pocket on the front and another large pocket on the inside. There is a luggage tag slot above the pocket to identify the owner of the bag which is a practical design feature when leaving a small backpack with your child in pre-shool or daycare. This backpack is a Christmas present for my niece; however, I can take orders for backpacks if anyone is interested.

Here is a picture of the interior before I turned the bag right-side out.
