The first Christmas program of the season is scheduled for December 18th, so it seemed only appropriate the Gabrielle had a new holiday dress for the occasion. I purchased the printed fabric a few years ago with the thought of aprons or tote bags, but just could resist using this border print in a dress.
I liked how it turned out so much that I felt it needed a little bolero vest to go with it. I even impressed myself as I didn't have a pattern for the vest, but did it from scratch. When the vest is worn with the dress, it will look like a printed dress with blue sleeves.
