Halloween Princess

Gabrielle is going to be a Halloween princess this year. A month back I completed her indoor outfit, but realized that we will not have this beautiful October weather much longer and needed to make something a little warmer for outdoors. This dress was a real bugger to make as Gabrielle was swimming in a size three dress due to the design. After taking in several panels I opted to add a belt to clinch the waist. This is not one of my better projects, but it is complete and she will look beautiful wearing it.

I also made a little crinoline to go underneath to make the skirt stand out rather than drape around her small figure. Of course a crinoline should be made out of a stiff wire; however I opted for soft tulle cut into ribbons.
